"Break Me Free" lyric video is soon to be broken free.

Let me start with this: making this video was an awesome experience.

My dad was a mod back in the day, and his stories have always seemed almost mythical. Naturally, when Subculture got in touch, my inner mod was absolutely overjoyed.

With creative requirements in place (to utilise mod iconography and the classic red/white/blue palette) I set to work in creating a video with dynamic qualities in keeping with the energy of this youthful mod band.

I’m very thankful that the band were as pumped with the result as I was, and we’re equally excited to see the release on Feb 28th.

It’s truly refreshing to see a modern mod band smashing out astoundingly good originals.
